About Me
My love for art and creativity began at a young age, I was drawn to anything artistic which was a drastic difference to the rest of my family who are all very mathmatical and led by logic. After dropping out of sixth form at 18, I turned to a Level 2 Makeup qualification, hoping for a fresh start. It was the first time I truly excelled in education, I went on to achieve two Distinction-level Media Makeup qualifications.
This passion moved me up north to Manchester, where I pursued a Foundation Degree in Special Effects Makeup Artistry and then topped up with a BA (Honours) in Makeup Artistry, graduating with First Class Honours.
During my time at university, I worked throughout every sector of makeup you could think of; theatre, SFX, film, TV, occasion and bridal. This allowed me to build up knowledge for any situation which may come my way, whilst allowing me to narrow down my niche. Bridal, occasion and editorial has always been my jam, I just love seeing how good my clients feel when looking in the mirror.
Alongside completing my education, I spent three years working at one of Manchester’s busiest hair and makeup salons. This experience was invaluable, giving me the opportunity to work with a diverse range of skin tones, ages, and skin types. Helping me refine my skills and adapt to every client’s unique needs. During my time there, I had amazing opportunities such as collaborating with ITV, The Real Housewives of Cheshire, hosting masterclasses and kick-starting my bridal makeup artistry journey.
After graduating, I knew it was time to take the leap and start my own business—something I once only dreamed of at 18. My journey has been filled with lessons, growth, and incredible experiences, all of which have shaped me into the artist I am today. I wouldn’t change a thing! I have never felt such passion for something as much as I do makeup, and I know this is what I am meant to achieve in my career. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for me.
